Welcome to the latest gadgets, gizmos, and related news out of Japan, delivered to you by a long-time gadget fan in Tokyo. While there are already plenty of great gadget blogs out there, including some focused on Japan, there are always more products coming out than the big English-language blogs can pick up – as well as products whose details get lost in translation. (Literally, that is. With due respect to the big blogs, many openly admit to using machine translation for their Japan news, and the results sometimes show.)

It's my pleasure to fill in some gaps with information accurately relayed from original Japanese sources. That means details you likely won't see on other blogs.
